One of my favorite scenes was the contentment of Azra after Ahmar gave her the pacifier. This moment highlighted the nurturing ways of a father to a child and really puts into perspective the extent of Ahmar's sacrifice and how little time he had to be with his daughter before giving her up to protect her.
Thank you. I loved that scene too, when Ahmad gives Azra the pacifier. I felt the compassion and excitement of fatherhood I imagined Ahmad would have when that was happening.
And I really like the idea that love is a willingness to sacrifice. That’s what it is. It could also be said the other way. Why else would sacrifice if not for love?
